Find Out What Goes On and How to Get Involved
What Happens at a Sunday Service?
Sunday worship services happen at 11am every week and last for about an hour. During the service we sing Psalms and Hymns often accompanied by a piano. A minister or elder will lead the service by reading from the bible, explaining and teaching about what has been read during a sermon, and praying on behalf of the congregation. A light lunch is provided immediately after the service, and a time for discussion and questions on what was said in the sermon. There is a Sunday School for children of all ages after the morning service, as well as a creche for babies and infants during the service.
How Can I Get Involved?
If you have recently joined the church and you are keen to get involved, that's great, we would love for you to use your talents to serve the work of the Lord. Like most churches there are rotas for most of the acts of service such as welcoming people at the door, maintaining the grounds, cleaning up after tea is served etc. If you have a particular skill or talent you feel would be beneficial, such as music or teaching, please speak to the minister or any of the elders who will be delighted to discuss this with you. Or you could leave us a note on the form below and one of the elders will get back to you shortly.
How Can I Give to the Work of Church?
If you want to start giving to the work of Bishopbriggs Free Church and wider mission, there are several options available. If you are a member or regular adherent, you can place your offering on the 'plate' (i.e. wooden stand) which is located at the door just before you enter the main worship hall. The other option is to give as a one-off donation or regular standing order through your bank. All you need for this is our bank details which are available by speaking to our Treasurer John Macleod or by requesting them on the link below.

You can also give to specific works of the church or mission work by clearly specifying this on your donation.
If you are a tax payer we would encourage you to register with us for gift aid, as this allows us to claim an additional 20% tax rebate on your donation. For a gift aid form please speak to our Treasurer or complete the form below.
